Important Note

The S6SPY-Q766 is Skullcandy's PlayStation-packaged Black Digi-Hype version of SLYR Pro. The underlying headset remains multi-platform and can also work with supported Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC systems.

SLYR Pro is a wired headset and does not include Bluetooth or wireless gaming connectivity.

Unlike the standard SLYR, the SLYR Pro contains a rechargeable battery for its powered audio features. Skullcandy specifies up to 20 hours of playtime and states that charging is required. When connected through USB, the headset can draw power and recharge while being used.

Advanced Skull-HQ features such as Enhanced Sound Perception, Game / Chat Mix and deep EQ customization require the Windows Skull-HQ software. Skullcandy currently supports Windows 10 or later and does not provide Skull-HQ for macOS or Linux.

SLYR Pro is a stereo headset. Spatial audio such as PS5 3D Audio or Windows Sonic is provided by the compatible gaming platform rather than by a native surround-sound processor inside the headset.
