The TP-Link Tapo C245D is a dual-lens indoor security camera designed to monitor two areas simultaneously from a single device.

It combines a 2K 3MP wide-angle camera with a separate 2K 3MP telephoto pan/tilt camera, providing both a broad overview and detailed close-up monitoring.

With synchronized smart tracking, AI detection, 12m infrared night vision, two-way audio and expandable local storage, it offers flexible home monitoring without requiring multiple cameras.

Important Note

The Tapo C245D is designed primarily for indoor use and does not carry an outdoor weather-resistance rating.

The camera connects through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. It does not include a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection or Ethernet port.

A microSD card is not included. Local recording supports compatible cards up to 512GB.

The wide-angle lens is fixed for normal operation but can be manually adjusted vertically during installation. The telephoto lens is the motorized pan/tilt camera.
