Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro 300Mbps - Black (R03)

Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro 300Mbps - Black

The Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro, model R03, is designed to extend the coverage of an existing 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and help reduce weak-signal areas around your home or office.

It features two external antennas, wireless speeds up to 300Mbps and support for up to 16 connected devices.

With simple Mi Home app setup and compact wall-plug installation, it is an easy solution for improving Wi-Fi coverage in bedrooms, living areas, offices and other hard-to-reach locations.

Extend Your Existing Wi-Fi Network

The Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro connects wirelessly to your existing router and rebroadcasts the Wi-Fi signal to areas where coverage is weak.

It is useful for improving connectivity in rooms, balconies, bedrooms and other locations that may be difficult for the main router to reach.

2.4GHz Wi-Fi Up to 300Mbps

The extender operates on the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band and supports wireless transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps.

• Wi-Fi Band: 2.4GHz
• Maximum Signal Rate: Up to 300Mbps
• Wireless Standards: IEEE 802.11b/g/n

Actual internet speed depends on your main router, broadband connection, signal strength, network congestion and connected devices.

2 × 2 External Antennas

Two external antennas help strengthen wireless reception and improve signal stability when extending the network from your primary router.

• Antenna Type: External
• Number of Antennas: 2
• Configuration: 2 × 2

Support for Up to 16 Devices

The Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro supports up to 16 connected devices simultaneously.

Suitable connected devices can include:

• Smartphones
• Tablets
• Laptops
• Smart TVs
• Game Consoles
• Smart Home Devices
• Other 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Devices

Simple Mi Home App Setup

Setup is handled through the Mi Home app.

Place the extender near your main router during setup, power it on and follow the instructions in the app. Once pairing is complete, the indicator changes to blue.

• Setup App: Mi Home
• Wireless Setup: Yes
• Reconfiguration After Moving: Normally Not Required

Find the Best Placement

For the best results, Xiaomi recommends positioning the range extender between your main router and the weak-signal area while ensuring it still receives a strong signal from the router.

The Mi Home app can help you check signal quality and choose a more suitable location.

Works with Existing Routers

The Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro is designed to extend an existing wireless network and can be used with compatible Xiaomi and third-party Wi-Fi routers.

Router settings such as wireless security, access-control lists and Wi-Fi channel configuration can affect compatibility.

Automatic Network Extension

Once configured, the extender automatically reconnects to the saved Wi-Fi network after being unplugged and moved to another suitable wall outlet.

This makes it easy to reposition the extender without repeating the full setup process each time.

WPA / WPA2 Wireless Security

The extender supports standard Wi-Fi password encryption to help maintain a protected wireless connection.

• Wireless Security: WPA-PSK
• Wireless Security: WPA2-PSK

MT7628K Processor

The Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro uses an MT7628K processor running at 580MHz to manage wireless repeater operation.

• Processor: MT7628K
• CPU Frequency: 580MHz
• RAM: 8MB
• ROM: 2MB

Low Power Consumption

The range extender is designed for continuous operation while consuming relatively little power.

• Power Consumption: Approx. 3.57W
• Power Supply: 100-240V / 0.35A

Compact Wall-Plug Design

The compact enclosure plugs directly into a compatible wall socket, avoiding the need for a separate power adapter or long power cable.

• Dimensions: 80 × 54 × 70mm
• Color: Black
• Installation: Direct Wall Plug

Indicator Light

The built-in indicator light provides basic setup and connection status information.

• Yellow Flashing: Ready for Setup / Pairing

Important Note

The Mi Wi-Fi Range Extender Pro is not a standalone Wi-Fi router. It requires an existing compatible Wi-Fi router or wireless network to extend.

This model operates on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only and does not provide 5GHz Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

The advertised 300Mbps figure refers to the maximum theoretical 2.4GHz wireless link rate. It does not guarantee a 300Mbps internet connection, and actual performance will vary according to your router, broadband speed, distance, interference and network environment.

The physical wall-plug design can vary by regional package. Confirm the plug fitted to QUTECH stock before publishing a specific 2-pin or UK Type-G 3-pin plug specification.
