Nioh 3 is the latest entry in Team NINJA’s challenging dark samurai action RPG series, developed by Team NINJA and published by KOEI TECMO.

A Dark Samurai Action RPG

In Nioh 3, players take on the role of Tokugawa Takechiyo, a warrior destined to become Shogun.

After Takechiyo’s younger brother, Tokugawa Kunimatsu, becomes consumed by jealousy and leads a horde of yokai against him, Japan is plunged into chaos. Guided by the Guardian Spirit Kusanagi, Takechiyo travels through time to save the land and fulfill his destiny.

Expansive Open-Field Exploration

Unlike the more linear structure of earlier entries, Nioh 3 introduces expansive open-field environments that allow greater freedom to explore.

Players can discover dangerous villages, hidden areas, powerful enemies, yokai-infested locations, and areas consumed by the mysterious Crucible while still experiencing the intense difficulty and tension the Nioh series is known for.
